Speed Enforcement in Canon Pyon

Good evening residents of Canon Pyon and surrounding villages,

We would like to let you know that the Safer Neighbourhood Team have carried out speed enforcement in Canon Pyon today.

Road safety has been identified as a parish priority, and we are committed to working with our communities to address concerns and improve safety on our roads.

We are pleased to report that most of the road users were complying with the 30mph speed limit. However, 1 driver was caught going 41mph!

It’s important to remember that high speeds reduce a driver's ability to react to hazards and increase the risk of serious injury in the event of a collision.

We would like to thank the many motorists who are driving responsibly. Speed enforcement and road safety activity will continue across the area where concerns are identified.
